When you host your website with Talos Hosting, you'll need to point your domain's DNS to our nameservers. This ensures your website and email services are managed through Talos Hosting's hosting infrastructure.

Default Talos Hosting Nameservers

The standard nameservers for Talos Hosting are:

  • ns1.talosdns.com

  • ns2.talosdns.com

  • ns3.talosdns.com

  • ns4.talosdns.com

Note: You typically need to use at least the first two nameservers.

How to Set These Nameservers for Your Domain

  1. Log in to your domain registrar:

    • Visit the website where your domain was registered and log in to your account.

  2. Find DNS or domain settings:

    • Look for an option like "Manage DNS," "Domain Settings," or "Nameservers."

  3. Update the nameservers:

    • Delete the existing nameservers and replace them with:

      • ns1.talosdns.com

      • ns2.talosdns.com

      • ns3.talosdns.com

      • ns4.talosdns.com

  4. Save your changes:

    • Apply or save your changes. DNS propagation can take between 4 to 48 hours globally.

How to Verify

Once you've updated your nameservers, use a tool like DNS Checker to verify propagation. After it completes, your domain will be fully connected to Talos Hosting services.
